HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO DO A PORTRAIT DRAWING?
This is sometimes a difficult one to answer. Each product type has a different turnaround time and it boils down to how many changes you request and what our current workload situation is. We have included an average timeframe for every product so you can see what type of process we have for each of our portrait types. You can find this in the "more details" section on every product.
If we are overloaded with work and it's expected to exceed those timeframes mentioned you will be notified in a pop up when adding items to the cart. This way you can judge if your happy to wait before making any purchases, in these situations where the workload is at it's highest it's a matter of “First in, first served” a popular phrase used by Australians basically meaning you will be placed in a queue till earlier orders are completed.
WHAT IF MY PORTRAIT WAS LOST OR DAMAGED WHEN SHIPPED?
We offer extra cover for a small additional fee for portraits that require physical shipping via Auspost. For peace of mind whilst it's in the postal process it's recommend to include extra cover during checkout
If you're one of the unfortunate ones that have this happen or suspicions package has been tampered with. Please take & send photos of the packages damaged and how it's affected the artwork.
This is required for us to claim extra cover for lost or damaged whilst in transit with Auspost. You then have the option for a full refunded or the drawing to be redrawn and reshipped. You can report damage or lost items on our contact us page.
DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIGITAL PORTRAIT & TRADITIONALLY MADE PORTRAITS?
Our digital portraits are primarily done using either a stylus & computer or stylus & iPad with image and drawing applications. When ordering a digital portrait you'll receive high-resolution files for you to print or online web environment sent directly to your email.
Traditional portraits start out been done digitally to compose and apply certain manipulations you request if needed for the first proof, quickly giving you an idea of how we envision the end product looking like. The final product is completely hand drawn on quality papers, physically packaged and sent to your address.
CAN I SEND A PORTRAIT AS A GIFT TO SOMEONE & ADD A MESSAGE?
Yes, we sure can we can even delay shipment to a specific date so they get the package around that date. It's completely free service if you would like us to include a special message adding that personal touch, mention so in the "special instructions for the seller" found on the checkout page.
I WANT MORE THEN ONE SUBJECT IN THE SAME PORTRAIT USING MULTIPLE PHOTOS, IS THIS POSSIBLE?
Yes, We use image editing software to combine images to create that epic portrait you want. There are things to know of when using over one photo to create one portrait. try to find a photo taken from the same perspective and slimier dominate lighting. Otherwise, things look unnatural and weird. Anything you have in mind just make sure you do your best to explain what it is in the brief input when ordering.
